I am pleased to announce that my new drum tuition book and accompanying CD will be available from September. The book utilises a ‘work in progress’ approach which enables the student to extend and expand the exercises contained within the book. Topics covered include the adaption of rudiments to the drum kit, jazz drumming techniques, and two articles on ‘my experience as a student and teacher’ and ‘music technology and drumming’. The book also features original play along jazz compositions recorded and performed live by professional musicians.
